Wand focus of the Primal

As you may know, the primal wand focus is a mid-late game item in the Thaumcraft mod

However, the item is known to be able to grief, and bypass grief plugins, and is hence banned for this ability.

The mod Thaumic Tinker 2, a mod found in a decent number of the modpacks, depends on this item in order to create the upgraded end game Ichor cloth armor.

Is it possible to get this item unbanned, or at least a way to craft with it to get to get the armor?

Sorry if this is a late reply, but there are ways around the bans such as auto crafting. This does not let the player use the item, but it will allow crafting.
