Its not near impossible, it is merely somewhat difficult and quite annoying. Having someone or something continuously throw blocks at the hungry node whilst you surround it with glass makes it much easier. I've done so numerous times.

You can trap a hungry node without the focus.

We typically reset maps only if necessary. Additionally, once a claim has been abandoned for a sufficient period of time, it will regenerate the area back to how it was before being claimed. Thanks for your input though, we'll consider it.
