Thaumcraft Ores not available in CC?

So I have been looking everywhere for Thaumcraft Ores, the ones that drop the elemental shards, but I couldn`t find any. Are they banned/disabled or is it just bad luck?

They only spawn near spawn. Mine near spawn and you should find some

I had the same problem, but the ores are there. Just vacant in some areas. I bet Kolton's right - check near spawn

The shards are also on the server stocked market to insure that players can acquire them if they can't seem to find any of the ores.

The spawn on Crundeecraft has been moved recently think they only spawn around where it once was. that area is around near x 0, z 0 for its previous location i think. and ive been seeing them from around up to at least 10k blocks out from there.
