by perhaps adding a casino or slot machine mod. If a server goes down or in the 5-10 minutes some servers need to reboot players can while away their time using slot machines or playing roulette... Not sure what minecraft stuff there is out there.
Also, why not put an NPC villager in there who will tell you news of the other servers. Not all players join the forum. They may not know there are other servers out there or whats in the other mod packs.
