Denied Why i dont think i should have been banned

The reason i got banned is because i bypassed pvp protection.

In the forum made by tromboneamb it said i bypassed anti pvp protection, with the evidence of two taglocks from a friend of mine (Mrbeegamer/angus) those 2 taglocks are from when angus and i shared a house, i was trying to get my taglock from a bed but angus had already slept in it without me realising so i tried once got his i then slept in the bed to see if that would work, i got another of his, i then picked up the bed placed it down somewhere else slept in it and then tried getting my own taglock, not needing the other two taglocks i chucked them into one of our chests because me and mrbeegamer had a verbal agreement also with fireemblem1 aswell that we wouldnt curse him, even though me and fire found this boring of him we respected it and i in particular didnt plan to curse him so your evidence is quite flimsy in all honesty then the fact of me bypassing pvp protection, now i only just figured out like an hour ago how really but mrbee was fine with it aslong as i helped replace the animal which i was fine with "

Mr Daniel, I see what you're saying and I also see you might have not known that killing his owl would kill him and your friend might have been ok with the whole situation but you still had taglocks and their main use is to bind puppets to the player and on most occasions hurt the tag locked victim so either way you were going to bypass pvp with the taglocks

CptMemu is correct. I would add that when I investigated this, I just knew that you had likely killed someone with witchery, as the log simply says "X was killed with magic". When I searched your base, I found two taglocks for the player, which I had been told can be used to bypass pvp protections and kill the player.

For this reason, your argument of "the evidence provided is flimsy" does not hold up, as you've literally stated HOW you killed the player with magic.

1 - you did indeed bypass PvP protection.

2 - you had taglocks of the player who you had killed, which can just as easily be used to accomplish #1.

I will also add the following - taking this tone is not the way to go about making an appeal. I have pasted one of the answers from the appeal you messaged to me on the Discord below:

When making an appeal to claim to have learned something, it generally is not the best idea to include "do X so that I don't get caught in the future" in what you have learned.




EDIT:

As you requested, I updated the ban report to basically reflect the following sentiment: "He didn't break the rules by killing a player with taglocks. He actually broke the rules by killing the player with another anti-pvp bypass."
