This is a guide on how to find and submit crash reports to us if your client is crashing. This is only vaild for client crashes, server crashes are dealt with differently (client crashes are when your minecraft window completely shuts down and you have to start it all up again, not just getting kicked off the server).

Crash reports can be found in the modpack directory, in the crash-reports folder. This can be found in the folder of the launcher you use, generally either ATLauncher or Curse. Some possible examples:
  • ...\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Crackpack\crash-reports
  • ...\ATLauncher\Instances\CrainerCraft\crash-reports
You will have set your ATL/curse directory when you installed.
If there is no crash-reports folder, this means you have never crashed in this instance. You are either looking in the wrong instance or the issue is not a real crash.
If you are using a launcher like curse which uses minecraft's new launcher, you will also be able to get crash reports directly from this launcher after you crash.

You can either copy-paste the contents of this directly, or you can click "Open report file" in the top right to get to the actual file. It doesn't matter how you get the crash report, as long as you do get it.
Please note that the Game output (curse) and ATLauncher console are not a good place to get crash reports from, they will contain much more than just a crash report and it makes it more difficult for us to find the actual crash. Do not use the "Upload Log" button on ATL.

Once inside there, you will find one one or more files like this:
  • crash-2016-04-19_00.34.49-client.txt
  • crash-2016-04-22_23.05.26-client.txt
  • crash-2016-06-09_20.42.26-client.txt
These correspond to the time when you crashed. Open the file corresponding to the time when you crashed (probably the latest one).
Go to Pastebin and copy-paste the crash report into there, and click "Create New Paste". The optional settings shouldn't matter too much, but please do not make the paste expiration any shorter than 1 week, and make sure the exposure is either public or unlisted.
If your crash report is too long to paste because of a lot of repeated lines (for example, like this) you can remove most of these lines before pasting, but make sure to mention that you did this, and make sure that you only remove parts of the repeating block. If you remove other parts, the report may not be properly readable.
Once you have a link to the paste, you can submit a support ticket in the forum where this thread is.
Any thread needing a reply from the player that has not recieved one for over 2 weeks will be closed. If this happens, please submit a new one.

If anyone thinks I've left anything important out of this guide, please let me know.
